The Alwaleed Bin Talal Seminar in Islamic Studies presents: Islam and Citizenship in Indonesia: Nahdlatul Ulama and the Quest for an Inclusive Public Ethics. In this seminar, Dr. Robert Hefner, Professor of Anthropology and International Relations, Boston University, will examine the conditions facilitating democracy and inclusive citizenship in Indonesia, the most populous Muslim-majority country and the third largest democracy in the world.
