This manuscript workshop for Kristen Stilt, Professor of Law at Harvard Law School and also Faculty Director of the Animal Law & Policy Program and Director of the Program on Law and Society in the Muslim World, for her book project, Halal Animals: Food, Faith, and the Future of Planetary Health, will take place over Zoom on the afternoons of January 29, February 4 and February 5. The workshop is organized by Justin Marceau of the University of Denver.

Invited participants will one, two, or three sessions based on their areas of interest and their schedule. For each chapter, one to two people will take responsibility for offering the initial comments.

A stipend of $1,000 for participation in the workshop is provided by the Brooks Animal Studies Academic Network (BASAN) to the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and Harvard Law School. BASAN is a project of the Brooks Institute for Animal Rights Law and Policy.
